Inferior vesical artery

  • The inferior vesical artery (latin: arteria vesicalis inferior) is a branch of the anterior division of the internal iliac artery.

The inferior vesical artery passes medially along the pelvic floor to the urinary bladder. The inferior vesical artery supplies the base of the urinary bladder.

In males, the inferior vesical artery gives off a branch to the prostate and seminal glands.
