Anterior lateral malleolar artery

  • The lateral anterior malleolar artery (latin: arteria malleolaris anterior lateralis) is a branch of the anterior tibial artery.

The lateral anterior malleolar artery arises at the level of the lateral malleolus, then curves around it and forms the lateral malleolar network.

This artery supplies the region of the lateral malleolus, ankle joint and the tarsal bones.
